An electric fireplace provides a means of heat and cooking one’s food since Prometheus stole the first flame to give to man. A fire and a place to keep the fire have formed an integral and recognisable part of homes throughout the world. The fireplace, be it in the living room of a stately mansion or in the easy kitchen of a farmhouse, has always been a place where people could gather around to talk, romance or just have fun.
Sadly, the traditional wood fire is no longer viable in today’s world, especially in the homes and apartment blocks of modern cities that don’t have inbuilt fireplaces.
