Fire damages vacant Spokane Valley home (KHQ Spokane)

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Emergency crews knocked down a fire at a vacant new home at 1304 S. Blake Road Sunday evening. Fire officials say the fire started near a fireplace around 4:30 p.m. Damage from the fire was confined to one room in the back of the structure.
